climbing moonrise kingdom

A delayed post, but yesterday was a magical adventure spent with Jennifer. We had brunch at the grounds of alexandria which was nice, but I'm not a fan of the burgers.. waaaaay too salty.

a secret garden :p

And then after lots of contemplating, I decided to take a ferry out to Manly. Emphasis on the I because jennifer could not make up her mind either. No regrets, and the ferry ride to and from was only a dollar which is such a bonus. We climbed the raw rocks that lined the edge of the ocean and walked down to a beach I discovered was actually Shelly beach. But i like to refer to it as moonrise kingdom, just because it closely resembled the beach from that movie. We climbed up some stairs and climbed over a fence and sat at this grass covered cliff for a while. It was the best feeling in the world, to be so grounded with nature. I was so overwhelmed because there is so much to explore and I've barely seen much of my own home. But I have a proclamation to support that, because it's not like the beach is my backyard or something. I wish :'( It's the most nonchalant feeling in the world to sit at a cliff overlooking the vast ocean watching the cyan waves folding and tumbling against the rocks whilst breathing in fresh salty air. Pure bliss.

me and my lemonade which i did not finish and had to throw out. sorry :(

someone left their shit here..nice
